Douglas C. Gerhold

GERHOLD, DOUGLAS C. of White Lake; March 27, 2024; age 74; Loving husband of Jan for 31 years; Cherished father of Dakota Gerhold and the late Nick Gohl; Dear son of the late William and Kitty Gerhold; Beloved brother of William (Heidi) Gerhold II, Valarie Gerhold and Cynthia (Kreig) Peterson; Caring son in law of Clara and the late Bruce Sanderson; Brother in law of Bruce (Mitzi) Sanderson and Brian Sanderson (Patty Concialdi); Also cherished by many beloved nephews and nieces and his faithful friend Sadie. Mr. Gerhold was a veteran of the United States Navy and was an electrician for the Ford Motor Company. He later worked in maintenance at the Orchard Lake St. Mary Campus and was a Range Officer for the State of Michigan DNR. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. The celebration of life will be live streamed on Zoom.
