LARSON, JON R. of Clarkston; Born September 15, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan; Passed away March 7, 2026 at the age of 80. Dear son of the late Norman E. and Lorraine E. Larson; Loving husband of Jane L. Larson for 57 years; Beloved father of Wendy L. (Ronald) Fowler, Ingrid K. (James A. Underwwod) Larson, Natalie K. (Sean) Galloway and Johanna M. Larson; Cherished grandfather of Justin (Sarah) Fowler, Hunter (Angie Justian) Fowler, Eoghan Galloway, Mazie Galloway and Pierce Galloway; Great-grandfather of Abigail, Elijah, Gideon and Harrison; Brother of the late Thomas Larson; Also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and close friends. Jon was a combat veteran who served in the United States Army during the war in Vietnam. He retired from General Motors Parts Division after 35 years of service. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 22, 2026 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. A funeral service will be held Monday March 23, 2026 at Waterford Comunity Church, 3900 Airport Road, Waterford. The service time is pending.
