Douglas W. Hopple, Sr., 65, passed away on December 28, 2024, in Williamsport. Born on June 3, 1959, in Jersey Shore, to the late James L. Hopple and Maxine (Pepperman) Allen. Douglas spent a lifetime surrounded by the beauty and serenity of Pennsylvania, a place he called home.
Douglas was a man of many passions, with family at the heart of everything he did. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren, Alayna, Kendall, and Zane, who brought immense joy to his life. In his spare time, Douglas enjoyed tinkering with his model trains, a pastime that reflected his meticulous nature and love for intricate details. Hopple, Jr. and Jason (Megan Derrick) Hopple; and three grandchildren, Alayna Hopple, Kendall Hopple, and Zane Hopple. He leaves behind a legacy also cherished by his siblings, Michael (Nora) Hopple, Jeffrey (Glenda) Hopple, David (Bobbiemarie) Allen, Roland Allen, Sandra (Jason) Duke, and Jessica (Michael) Letterman.
