Linton, Douglas "Doug" – of Flint, formerly of Las Vegas, age 52, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2025. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. No services at this time.
Doug was born December 6, 1972, in Flint, Michigan to James "Jim" and Mary (Salmon) Linton. A proud graduate of Flint Central High School, class of 1991, Doug thrived in the vibrant atmosphere of Las Vegas, where he made a name for himself as a talented bar manager at various renowned establishments, with his final role at "Atomic Tavern" a part of the Atomic Liquor's group. His infectious spirit and love for life shone through in everything he did. Doug was known for his ability to bring people together, creating a welcoming atmosphere for friends and patrons alike. He cherished the moments spent in good company, and his vibrant personality made him the life of the party. Doug was a dedicated fitness enthusiast, passionate about music, and a devoted traveler who loved exploring the world. He was affectionately referred to as the "fun uncle," bringing laughter and cherished moments to family gatherings. Doug's spirit and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by friends and family who remember him not only as an extraordinary son, brother and uncle but as a vibrant friend who filled their lives with happiness.
Surviving are: Loving parents, Jim and Mary Linton; Sisters: Kristi (Tom) Fisher and Becky (Greg) Black; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 great niece; Several good friends in Las Vegas and here in Michigan. He is preceded in passing by his grandparents.
