Douglas G. Mannor

Douglas G. Mannor, 57, of Gwinn, passed away on November 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at U.P. Health System – Marquette.
Douglas was born on March 22, 1968, in Flint, MI, to Gaylord L. and Yvonne G. (Wilson) Mannor. He was a graduate of Clio High School and later attended Lansing Community College.
On March 7, 2003, he married Jennifer Baker in Marquette.
Douglas worked for many years as a crew chief airplane mechanic for American Airlines at the Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport. He also served proudly as Vice President of the Local 574 union with Envoy.
A true outdoorsman, Douglas found joy in hunting, fishing, foraging and especially tending to his veggie garden. He was an avid chainsaw collector, took great pride in sharpening his knife collection, and loved tinkering with anything he could fix. Generous to his core, Douglas was always willing to lend a hand and never hesitated to help others. His wit and sense of humor brought warmth and laughter.
Douglas is survived by his children: Kelli (Paul) Baker, Stepheniey Lyke, Douglas (Liza) Mannor II., Magena (Derrick) Lyke, Megan (Cameron) Simpson, Dustin (Madison) Mannor, Madeline (Justin) Mannor, Brooke (Jaden) Mannor, and Emily (Jarod) Mannor; his grandchildren: Max, Millie, Sierra, Cole, William, Genevieve, Jocelyn, Jack, Rowan, Peyton, Jake, Kyle, Owen, Emmett, Elizabeth, Ryder, and Chevelle; his siblings: Amy (Dennis) Giannakakis, Barb (Paul) Mueller, and Cindy (George) Zureikat; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved canine companion-considered a brother by his children-Griffin Eugene Mannor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaylord and Yvonne Mannor; his beloved wife, Jennifer Mannor; and his brother, Matthew Mannor.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dan Moll officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately afterward in the funeral home's reception room.
