Douglas Carlton Moffitt, age 75, died Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, in So. NH Medical Center after a long & valiant battle with cancer. He died peacefully. He was born on March 5th, 1950, in Lebanon, NH, the son of Arthur Moffitt and Angela LaBelle. He was the husband of Jill A. (Rogauskas) Moffitt. They were married on May 20th, 1983, at Alvirne Chapel, Alvirne, NH. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Doug graduated from Nashua High School in 1969 and received a football scholarship to Boston University. After sustaining sports injuries, Doug matriculated to New England College in Henniker, NH. While a student at New England College, Doug spent a semester abroad studying history in Arundel, England. Doug received a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

Doug taught history at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH, and coached various sports teams.

Doug left teaching and pursued a career in the field of human resources as a consultant in various industries.

Doug loved football his entire life and was a loyal New England Patriots fan. He and Jill loved the coast and spent much time in Maine and Cape Cod. They were planning a trip to London, England. Doug was a loving and caring husband and a wonderful pet parent to four beagles.

Services: There will be no calling hours. Condolences may be left on the Davis Funeral Home website. Donations in Doug's name may be made to the American Cancer Society
