Douglas James Musson was born on June 17, 1947, in Ames, Iowa, to Donald and Pauline (Stephens) Musson. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School and then attended Simpson College.
Douglas married Karen Kay on October 29, 2000, in Eldora, Iowa. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 192 and the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls.
He is survived by his wife Karen, sons Troy (Jill) Musson of Shawnee, KS, Mark (Molly) Musson, of Overland Park, KS, his daughter Tracy (Joe Zezza) Yount of Olathe, KS, step sons Chad (Terri) Mulford of Coulter, IA, Todd Mulford of Austin, MN, Jeff Mulford of Hampton, IA, and his sister Karen Sue Musson, of Ackley, IA, twenty six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Don and Pauline, his first wife Pennie Musson, and his son Scott Musson
