Doug was a fine young man and very good baseball player and wrestler at Schulte. I have fond memories of him when he was at Schulte. Allways intense and ready to play ball or wrestle. Super kid to have on your team. Coach Effner

It´s always a shock to hear of a classmates death. Brenda, I´m sorry for your loss and the pain it may be causing you. I always enjoyed being around both of you - very kind and friendly couple . I had the opportunity to play golf with Doug and friends a few times. Doug always amazed me at the natural talent he had for most sports including golf.
I hope his memories help to put a smile on your face and comfort you during this time. May God´s Light shine down on you and relieve the sorrow in your heart.

Thoughts and prayers for the family and close friends. Never a dull moment with Doug. I remember Doug emptying my golf bag of balls hitting them over the river in Bettendorf, Iowa in between matches at a 7´s rugby tournament. Typical. You´ll be missed by many Doug.
