Doyle Robert Adams, 87, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Magnolia Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born on April 15, 1938, in Buncombe County, Doyle was the son of the late Gay Adams and Alda Corn Adams. He was a devoted member of Light of Life Baptist Church and found great joy in spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth Adams.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two children, Dianne Reynolds (Michael) and Kelly Davis; four grandchildren, Ashley Boyer, Micah Milhorn, Aaron Reynolds, and Cole Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Hunter Villalpando, Blake Reynolds, Brayden Milhorn, and Colton Milhorn.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Tilden Metcalf Cemetery in Madison County, North Carolina, with Rev. James Bryant officiating.
