Doyle was born in 1962 in Winner to Albert and Joyce Klein. He was the youngest of 7 children. He graduated from Winner High School in 1980, but didn't really care for school.
Doyle joined the Army in July of 1981 to follow in the footsteps of his father and brother, Darryl. He was stationed in Missouri, Germany, and finally in Georgia where he was honorably discharged in July of 1984. This is when he began his journey as a truck driver, driving for his father and eventually buying his own truck along the way. At the beginning of his trucking career, he really enjoyed hauling cattle and grain. He even tried the reefer business which he didn't care for, so he went back to hauling cattle and grain. Following this, he spent over 10 years long haul trucking all over the United States and became a navigational expert. He loved to be in a profession that allowed him to meet and stay close with so many trucker friends.
He then "found the love of his life, Brenda Waller, and to this union a beautiful baby girl was born, Ronae Joyce Klein." After this, family was always the most important thing to him. Other hobbies he enjoyed included hunting, bowling, golfing, playing darts with friends, and most importantly, spending a lot of time with family. Doyle especially liked playing cards with his siblings, but it could get a bit rowdy at times. In addition to this, Doyle felt so lucky that he could go on so many adventures with his wife and daughter to beautiful places including the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Hawaii, and many others. In later years, he turned a new leaf and became a professional multiple choice grader for his daughter when she started her teaching career, and he looked forward to helping her in any way he could.
In 2024 he was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and fought hard, but lost the battle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Joyce Klein, his in-laws, Ronald and Patricia Waller, his brother, Daniel Klein, a great nephew, and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, of 25 years, their daughter, Ronae of Mitchell, SD and his siblings, Dorothy Heinrich of Rapid City, SD, Darryl Klein (Earla) of
Winner, SD, Darla Bromwich (Lyle) of Rapid City, SD Dorinda Gvenin of Rapid City, SD, and Dudley Klein (Kathy) of
Winner, SD. He is also survived by his siter-in-law, Stephanie Waller of Fountain Hills, AZ and brother-in-law, Steven Waller (Joy) of Fountain Hills, AZ and many nieces and nephews.
