Doyle will always hold a special place in my heart. I first met Doyle through his son Dwayne about 31 years ago. Doyle was my boss at one point when he worked in construction. Quite frankly one of the best bosses I could ever recall having. However, the part that I will always be eternally grateful for is the fact nearly 30 years ago he sold me an acre of land that originally I don't think he really meant to sell. I asked him one day how much he would sell me an acre for and he gave me an amount not really thinking I was serious. However, when I showed up at his door one January day in 1996 with cash in hand he had a shocked look on his face. He sold me that acre of land that day and allowed me to seal the deal on my dream of owning my own land. Next year marks 30 years and I'm just as grateful today as I was all those years ago. Thank you Doyle for allowing me to complete my dream. I don't think you never really understood how it significantly changed my life by selling me this one little acre of land. I worked hard and was able to pay off both my houses on this land and was able to semi retire at 55 all because of you selling me that land. So again thank you so much
