Dr. Daniel James Highhouse, 40, of 280 N. Main Street in Inman, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Chestnut Mountain Preserve, in Greenville. Daniel was born in Kane, Pennsylvania on April 18, 1985, a son of Audrey Elaine Davis, of Sheffield, Pennsylvania and James Louis Highhouse, of Lyman, South Carolina. He was the husband of Felipa Vanessa Garcia Highhouse.
He attended Sheffield Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy and was employed as a Pharmacist, District Leader and Emerging Leader at CVS Pharmacy. Being a very Godly man who loved Jesus, his friends and his family, he attended Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church and Lifesong Church. Always an over achiever with a great sense of humor, he loved helping people as well as enjoying his time on motorcycles, boating, hiking, or whatever adventure he was doing at the time.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is also survived by: sons, Ethan Highhouse of Franklin of North Carolina, Tyler Garcia and Caleb Garcia of Inman; a daughter, Melissa Highhouse of Franklin, North Carolina; his step-mother, Angela Highhouse of Lyman, a brother, Michael Highhouse and his wife, Autumn and their children, Haley and Bella all from Russell, Pennsylvania, a sister, Ashley Highhouse and her children, Jordan and Jeremiah all of Lyman, South Carolina, his paternal grandmother, Janice Highhouse of Sheffield and 2 step-brothers, Xavier and Zac Sabb of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by a grandson, Koa Highhouse. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3rd at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3rd at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman with Pastor Randy Perrenoud officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
