The family later settled in Springfield, where Tom graduated from Cathedral High School in 1960. He continued his academic journey at Boston College, earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees. Tom’s passion for service guided him into a fulfilling career at the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission. There, he secured grants and developed programs that made a difference in the lives of countless individuals. Tom later transitioned to teaching and directing at Assumption University, where he shared his expertise in Social Rehabilitation until his retirement in 2010.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tom found joy in many personal pursuits. Tom cherished his family. In 1978, he married the love of his life, Carol M. Paduano, and together they built a beautiful life in East Walpole. He was an avid sports fan, a tennis player, and a lover of academia and the arts. Walks at Bird Park, theatre shows at Footlighters, and tennis matches at the local high school courts were among his favorite activities.
Above all, Tom was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather whose love and support were constants in their lives. His legacy of kindness and dedication will live on through them.
