Dragoljub Todorovich, 73, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, in Chicago, IL. He was born January 28, 1952, in Serbia and came to the United States in 1975 with his wife Marija. Dragoljub retired from Abbott Laboratories after a proud 26-year career. He was a member of New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church in Third Lake. After retiring in 2003, he enjoyed traveling and doing DIY projects at his family's homes. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren and treasured picking them up from school, attending their sports events, and their folklore performances.
Surviving Dragoljub is his wife of 55 years, Marija Todorovich; 2 sons, Milorad (Slavica) Todorovich & David (Marjana) Todorovich; grandchildren, Sladjana, Kristina & Milica; and uncle V. Rev. Jovan (Mirijana) Todorovich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milivoje & Krstina Todorovich.
A visitation will begin Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W. Grant St., Third Lake, IL. Interment will follow at the New Gracanica Cemetery. Arrangements by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville. For info: 847-362-3009 or share a memory at www.burnettdane.com.

Sorry to hear that Draja (as we called him) has passed. I worked for him at Abbott, and I can honestly say that I learned more working under him than I did during any other time during my 33 year career at Abbott. I pray that the warm memories you have of him will do much to comfort you during this heart-rending time.
