Drucella Ann Burton, 86, passed away on September 19, 2025. She was born May 25, 1939, in Mississippi County, MO to the late Herman and Alta Smith Ward.

On January 3rd,1959, at the First Baptist Church, she married Jerry Neal Burton. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2004.

Drucella was an active member in the East Prairie community. She owned and operated her own flower shop, The Petal Shoppe, for over 18 years.

She was a board member of the East Prairie Chamber of Commerce for several years and was named their Woman of the Year in 1998. She also sat on the Sweet Corn committee and participated in community events such as Puttin' on The Hits. She was a member of the James Bayou Catfish Cookers.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Neal Burton; four grandchildren, Bethany and husband Spencer McCauley, Jerry Burton III, Logan and wife Chase Burton, and Nicholas Burton; three great grandchildren, Noah, Charlotte, and Rachel.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, MO. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Anniston Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
