Drusilla 'Dru' Hall, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 91. Dru was born in Levelland, Texas, to Richard Edgar and Flora Adeline Manning. She married Maxwell Gene Hall on November 11, 1952, and they had four children: Sandy Drechsel (Carl), Greg (Nicky), Danny, and Robert.
Dru worked as an administrative assistant at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman and after retiring volunteered hundreds of hours at Norman Regional Hospital. She was a long-time member of Westside Church of Christ and enjoyed the Ladies Bible Class. She was an accomplished cook, artist, and gardener.
Dru was preceded in death by her husband, Max; daughter, Sandy; son, Robert; her parents; brothers, Bill, James, and Wayne Manning; and sisters, Cheryl Moreland and Sue Hinkle. She is survived by sons, Greg and Danny; sisters, Geneva Fletcher and Peggy Mahnken; granddaughters, Lauren Edwards, Morgen Weber, and Kristen Hall; grandsons, Wesley Hall and Justin Hall; grandsons-by-marriage, Colby Drechsel and Ryan Drechsel; and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Dru will be fondly remembered for her quiet grace and determination and her commitment to God, family, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
