JoAnn "Nana" Hipp

1950 - 2026

JoAnn "Nana" Hipp, age 75, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, at Hancock Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on July 28, 1950, to James Stanley and Rowena A. (Langley) Allen. She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. She married Jerry Hipp on January 8, 1993, in Yulee, Florida.

She worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield and most recently for Florida BMV for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved being outside working in her yard and garden. She loved going to the beach. She was also a devoted University of Florida Gators fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Misti Lynn (Chris) Holland of Fernandina Beach, Florida; son Patrick (Kathy) Robinson of New Palestine; brother, Jim (Dawn) Allen of Jacksonville, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) Howell, Chelsea (Dylan) Dildine, Shelbea Holland, and Ethan Robinson; and 3 great-grandchildren, Audrey and Kace Howell, and Tiller Dildine. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Joel Allen; sister, Janice "Sue" Blanton; and her beloved husband, "Hipp".

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
