GREENFIELD – Richard "Rick" Lee White, age 64, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Indiana University Hospital. He was born in Indianapolis on September 9, 1961, to Jerry and Phyllis White. He married Wanda Lyn (Whitaker) on March 29, 1986, in Indianapolis.

Rick worked for Monroe Custom Utility Bodies as a supervisor of the paint room for over 25 years and worked for the company for over 40 years. He was a member of the NRA. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Rick enjoyed playing darts, cornhole, and especially spending time with his family and friends. Rick also was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lyn White; son-in-law, Adam (fiancé, Jessie) Crye; two grandchildren, Tatum and Cali; five bonus grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, Remi, Eli, and Luke; great-grandson, William James; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; siblings, Debbie (Ron) Stanton, Tammy Daggett, Jerri Sue (Tray) Radcliff, and Jason (Jenn) White; mother-in-law, Wanda Fuqua; sisters-in-law, Mary (Greg) White Messer, Sonya (George) Ingram; and brother-in-law, Jeff Butte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Sharon White; mother, Phyllis; daughter, Tiffany Crye; brother, J.R. White; sister, Phyllis Jean Robbins; nephew, Justin White; and niece, Makayla Lockhart.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 1741 S. State St., Greenfield, IN 46140. Burial will be held at a later date at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Little Red Door, 1801 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46202, or by website https://www.littlereddoor.org/.
