Dryee Henrichson passed away July 15, 2024 at the age of 70 surrounded by his loved ones. He was married to the love of his life Wanda Henrichson for 43 years.

Dryee was born in the small town of Sandia, Tx on April 23, 1954 to Charlie Henrichson and Margaret Calloway. He attended Orange Grove ISD through the 8 grade and later achieved his GED. He protected and served his community as a volunteer EMT and Fire Fighter. He was later elected Constable of PCT 3 in Jim Wells County and retired as a Corporal in 2009 having served 23 years as a Peace Officer.

He will be remembered for his direct tell it like it is personality, and his sarcastic sense of humor.

He is survived by his 5 children Amanda Perez of Rockport, Tx, Shane and Rene Henrichson of Corpus Christi, Tx, Ashleigh Henrichson and Mark Lancaster of Orange Grove, Tx, Amber and Brian Morris of Sandia, Tx, Alison (Jo- Jo) and Juan Escalante of Orange Grove, Tx, and 2 honorary sons Gilbert Perez and Justin Doss.

He has 16 grandchildren: Amber Arcos, Syvannah, Dykotah and Bransyn Perez, Phillip and Avery Howard, Serenity Villafana and Elizabeth Porch, Kian, Averie and Makenna Morris, Devan, Gannon, Greyson, Paysleigh and Everleigh Escalante.

He had 3 nieces whom he considered sisters: Rhonda Herschap, Brenda Green and Lynda Zagone, as well as many more great nieces and nephews.

He will be loved and missed dearly.

Pall Bearers: Shane Henrichson, Brian Morris, Juan Escalante, Mark Lancaster, Phillip Howard, Kian Morris, Devan Escalante, Gannon Escalante, Cole Herschap, Justin Doss.

Honorary Pall Bearers: Greyson Escalante, and Bransyn Perez

Visitation will be at 6pm-8pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Mathis. Funeral Service will be at 10 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Mathis, followed by interment to Sandia Cemetery.
