David Duane Collins, Jr., 26, of Prosperity, went home to be with our precious Lord on Monday, January 22, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on May 5, 1997 in Newberry. Duane worked for Yoder Building Supplies and attended The Restoration Outreach Church (The ROC).
He is survived by his parents, Sam and Misty Taylor; sisters, Heather Collins (Mikohl Boyd), Brantlee Collins and Carlee Collins; his nephews that he adored and aggravated so much, Haeden Boyd and Braeden Boyd. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Harrison and uncle Brian Harrison. His best friend, Regenea “GG” Long and his cousin, Luke Carroway who was like a brother. He was survived by many other cousins and friends that he cherished.
Duane was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Steve Harrison and an uncle, Ricky Harrison.
Duane loved with all he had and was a precious soul who was one of a kind.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Restoration Outreach Church by Pastor Winston Yoder. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:30 – 3:30 pm at the church.
Memorials may be made to a homeless shelter.
Active pallbearers will be Luke Carroway, JB Harrison, Mikohl Boyd, David Long, Chris Miller and Tee Jackson
