Duane Alan Harris, 60, of Jonesboro, passed away in his home at 8:10 am on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, August 9, 1965, to Larry Harris and Kathleen (Cummings) Richards. On November 10, 1992, he married Tammie (Violet), who survives.
Duane graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1983. He worked as a fabricator with Structural Steel. Duane loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed an every Friday event of playing pool at a friend's house with several friends.
Duane is survived by his wife, Tammie Harris; mother, Kathleen Richards; children, Kevin Harris, Amber (Daniel) Aguilar, Joshua Harris, and Larry (Amanda) Harris; brother, Daniel Foy; grandmother, Ruth Webster; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Alan Harris, and grandfather, Garry Webster.
At Duane's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
