His spirit shone brightly not only in his professional life but also in his personal passions. A lover of golf, Spencer cherished the time he spent on the golf course, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and challenge of the game. He found joy in gardening and maintaining his yard, thriving in any opportunity to immerse himself in nature.

In addition to his professional and personal endeavors, Spencer honorably served in the United States Army. He took great pride in being a member of the American Legion Post 95 in Jonesboro, Indiana, reflecting his commitment to his country and community.
