Duane Carzell Johnson, 51 of Lafayette dearly departed this world at 5:30 am on February 16, 2023 at
Franciscan Health East in Lafayette. He was born October 26, 1971 in Evenston, IL to the late Donald A
and Lutherene L Davis Johnson Sr. Duane was a loving father and preferred to spend most of his time
with his children or family gatherings. He is survived by the love of his life Stacy D Billingsley and his
eight children Alexis L. Johnson, Julius E. Billingsley, Jasmyne R. Billingsley-Johnson, Janelle I. Billingsley-
Johnson, Janeane A. Billingsley-Johnson, Justus C. Johnson, Jeremiah K. Johnson, Josiah T. Johnson, and
his grandchildren Rylin L. Townsend and Amoni K. Wise. He is also survived by his brothers Donald A.
Johnson Jr, Donell J. Johnson, Devaughn L. Johnson, Demitrios D. Johnson among other family members
and friends.
Friends may call from 11am to time of services at 2pm on Friday March 10,2023 in the funeral chapel at
Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Burial will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Memorial
contributions may be made to Duane C. Johnson at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
