Duane Shadle, 80, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away peacefully and went on to reunite with the loved ones who left before him.
Born in Walton, New York, Duane spent the majority of his life in Fort Pierce, where he built a circle of friends, memories, and a reputation as someone who could brighten any room simply by walking into it. He was full of life and would help everyone he could!
He joins his beloved wife, Pamela Shadle (d. 2011); his mother, Mildred Shadle (d. 2001); his father, George Shadle (d. 1951); and his brothers, James Shadle (d. 1952) and Harold Shadle (d. 2005) and sister-in-law, Christina Shadle.
Duane’s passion for the outdoors shaped his life. His 30 years of work with the City of Fort Pierce Golf Course were some of his happiest. Whether he was on the grounds or spending time with the people he cared about, he carried an easy warmth that made others feel welcome and at ease.
