DuRae (Woody) Faye Poukka passed away Sunday September 28th in her home surrounded by family at the age of 79 , after battling with Lewey Body Dementia and Parkinsons for the last few years. She was born in Mahnomen on August 7th 1946 to her parents Joyce Frances Perrault and Louis Edward Eickstadt. She married her loving husband Roger Poukka on August 15th 1992. DuRae Graduated from Mesabi Community College with her A.A Degree and A.S Degree in Social Work. She worked at the Migizi program, supporting American Indian Youth. DuRae loved her family and was always the rock people looked to when they needed love and guidance.

Her memory will carry on through her family. Preceded in death by her loving parents Joyce and Sam Gould, Brother Chuck, and Sister Sheilia.

She is survived by Her husband Roger Poukka, Daughters; Tammy Adams, Sherri (William 3rd) Sobyra, Lisa (Mark) Anderson, Son; Robert Turpin, Sisters; Susan (Randall) Strand and Joy Neuerburg Robinson, as well as many Cousins, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday October 5th, from 2-4pm at Grandview Bar and Grill; 2820 Midway Road, Duluth Mn, 55810
