Dustin Earl Moyer, 33, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, November 15, 2023. Dustin was born on February 8, 1990, in Salina, Saline County, Kansas, to David James Moyer and the late Lori Ann (Spiedel) Moyer.
Dustin attended Monterey High School, graduating with the Senior Class of 2011.
Dustin was a loveable and charming person, who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed gardening and playing card games with his sister Darlene, who was his best friend. Darlene helped take care of him and catered to his needs and wants. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lubbock.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory includes his father, David Moyer and his new mother, Susan Moyer; two sisters: Darlene Ann Moyer of Lubbock and Faith Ann Paden of Nebraska; two stepsisters: Kaylene Allan and Kera Allan of Salina, Kansas; a brother, Derick Rodolph and his wife Cathy of Lubbock; his paternal grandmother, Mary Spiedel of Salina, Kansas; two nephews: Christian Rodolph and Corey Rodolph of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2006, paternal grandparents, David and Dorothy Moyer; a grandmother, Louisa House.
Visitation for Dustin will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Wolfforth Methodist Church, 1010 Donald Preston Drive, Wolfforth, TX 79382. Reverend Bailey Barkley will be the officiant. Celebration of Life services and cremation are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
Pallbearers will be Christian Rodolph, Corey Rodolph, Darren Moyer, Andrew Moyer, Danny Moyer and Eddie Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to honor Dustin to donate to the South Plains Food Bank in Lubbock, 5605 M. L. K., Jr., Blvd, Lubbock, TX 79404.
