Dusty was born on January 20, 1940, in Goldsboro, NC to the late Harvey Holmes and Laura Winifred Peek. She was a longtime resident of Parker, FL.
Dusty was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Kossow in 2000; her parents, Harvey Holmes and Laura Peek; 1 brother, Donald Ray Holmes; 1 sister, Gaynelle Mewbern; and aunt, Christine Holmes Murray.
Left to cherish Dusty's memory include her loving companion, Doug Hall of Parker; daughter, Cheryl Livesay of Parker; sister, Debbie Mewbern; cousins, Julia Jackson, Jimmy Roy Holmes, Maryann Hines, and Kristen Hines; and niece, Pam Smith.
Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jesse Dasher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Graveside services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to a charity of your choosing in Dusty's name.
