Mr. Dwight Wayne DeBorde, age 63 of Temple, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born in Atlanta on November 28, 1961. Mr. DeBorde is the son of the late, Herschel Jefferson DeBorde, Sr. and the late, Bobbie Jean (Hobby) DeBorde.
For over forty-six years, Dwight made a significant impact in the medical equipment industry, delivering essential services to many. His most recent tenure was with AeroCare, where he was remembered not only for his diligence but also for his genuine care and kindness towards his customers. Dwight took pride in ensuring that those he served had their needs met with respect and empathy. A devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church of Temple, Dwight was passionate about his faith and enjoyed sharing his beliefs with others. He cherished the simple joys of life, from spending quality time with his family and friends to enjoying his Mountain Dew and Honey Buns.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angie Louise (Hammond) DeBorde of Temple; his step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Scott and Carissa Hammond of Joliet, Illinois; step-daughters and their husbands, Brittany and Brandon Powell of Carrollton, Haley and Austin Duckert of Walhalla, South Carolina, and Hilary Stargel of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jeff and Christie DeBorde of Villa Rica, and Mike DeBorde of Riverdale. Dwight is also survived by his aunt, Cheryl Dennis of Monticello, ten step-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives.
In accordance with Mr. DeBorde’s arrangements, he will be cremated.
The family will host a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 1P.M. from Bethel Baptist Church in Temple.
