Honoring The Journey of Dwight Faust

Dwight Anthony Faust, age 78, of Knoxville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Northeastern Health System Sequoyah in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Dwight was born July 3, 1947, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Woodrow and Louise Faust. Following his graduation, he proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran. After his military service, Dwight worked faithfully for many years at Tyson Foods until his retirement.

Dwight enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, watching football, playing dominoes and cards, and trying his luck with a lottery ticket. He especially enjoyed singing Elvis tunes, dancing, swimming, and diving. He had a lively spirit and a joyful presence that could light up a room. A Christian man of strong faith, Dwight loved Jesus and lived his life with devotion and gratitude. He was fun, loving, and caring, though he could be a little ornery at times - a trait that made him all the more endearing to those who knew him. Above all, he cherished his family and friends. He will be remembered as a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, and as a proud American who deeply loved his country.

Dwight is survived by his daughters, Belinda Daniels and husband Creig Daniels, and April Faust; five grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Kari, Whitney, and Aaron; three great-grandchildren, Sparrow, Torvi, and Meredith; brothers, Woodrow Faust, and Mark Faust and wife Sharon Faust; dear friend, Misty Oaks; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Louise Faust; two sisters, Mary Charles and brother-in-law Dennis Charles, and Beverly Barbour. Services will be announced at a later date. Dwight's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Cremation is under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
