Dwight Jackson, affectionately known as "DJ", son of Irene Jackson and James Jackson born on March 10, 1952, which was his mother's birthday. He was the oldest of eight children. He attended E.E. Butler High School. He was married to the late Raynita Moss Jackson and later had a dear companion which was the late Hazel Smith.

Dwight attended Saint John Baptist Church where he was a member for many years. He loved reading and hearing God's word. He played basketball in school. He loved watching football and basketball with his friends, eating soul food, taking vacations with his niece Tara, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Dwight loved his family, and he loved to show love to others. He was known for extending a helping hand to anyone who was in need.

He is survived by his daughters Sonya (Timothy) Rucker, Andrea Dukes; son Rassie Littlejohn; siblings: James Zell, Edward, Juanita, Bernice and Valerie; grandkids: Adondra, Timothy Jr., Tamia, Rasssie Littlejohn Jr., Rave'en Littlejohn, great grandkids: Micahi, Chosen, Melachi, Cameron; nieces and nephews: Aneka, Tara, Zachary, Paige, XochittIl, Salvador, Christoher, Serenity, Tamijah, Zamaria, Mia Irene, River Roundy; Cousins: Mary Carruth, Essie, Joan, Nita, Genise, Lisa, Renee, Virginia, Bobara; Aunts: Gladys, Aetna, Debra, Lamar; special family: Dick/Naomi, Miller, Gip, Carolyn Goss, Joe Boy and a host of other relative and friends.
