Tryant King Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wimberly Funeral Home on Jan. 20, 2026.
Tryant "TK" Lamont King was born on December 13, 1970, in Gainesville, Ga. He departed this life on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Ga.

Born and raised in Gainesville, TK was a proud graduate of Gainesville High School. He continued his education at Lanier Technical College, earning an Associate's Degree in Business Management. His ambition and creativity led him into entrepreneurship, where he became the founder of Tru Vibe Entertainment, a venture that highlighted his vision, determination, and passion for the music industry. TK, a firm believer in Christ, joined St. John Baptist Church at an early age.

TK was the beloved son of the late Christine Camp and Michael King, and he carried their love and influence with him throughout his life. Those who knew him remember his steady presence, his kindness, and his love for music that made him someone people naturally trusted and gravitated toward.

He leaves behind one sister, Contrina Camp of Gainesville, Ga; one niece, Christy Camp, and one nephew, Quondric Camp, both of Gainesville, Ga; and two great-nephews, Carter Cantrell and Messiah Camp. He is also survived by three aunts: Barbara Pattman, who was his adopted mother of Commerce, Ga; Elaine Camp of Gainesville, Ga; and Carolyn Stephens (Charlie B) of Gainesville, Ga. In addition, he leaves behind two uncles, Timothy Camp and Lonnie Mize (Jennifer), both of Gainesville, Ga. He also leaves behind his stepmother, Mrs. Annie Lee Nunley of Gainesville, Ga, and a host of relatives and friends.

TK's family, friends, and community will forever cherish his memory and the impact he made through his kindness, his dancing and music, and the love he shared so freely.
