Dwight Morris Lamm, 87, of Wilson passed away Tuesday peacefully at home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment to be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Reverend Willis Pearson will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday directly following the funeral service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Dwight was the owner and operator of Dwight’s TV. He also was a projector operator at the Starlite Drive In and a member of Shiloh Pentecostal Church.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Medlin Lamm; daughters, Wanda Lamm and husband, Glenn of Wilson, and Beverly Lamm of Wilson; and grand fur baby, Angel.
He was preceded in death by parents, Rives Leon and Annie Pearson Lamm; Sister, Arlene Parker, and brother, Marshall Lamm.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
