Dwight Pendley

Dwight Pendley, age 83 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at his residence. Dwight was born on Tuesday, May 16, 1939 in the Provo Community of Butler County, KY. He was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church, retired from the United States Steel Mill in Gary, Indiana and worked as a carpenter his whole life. Dwight loved listening to wind chimes and collecting antique tools. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Billy and Bobby Pendley; one sister Adalene Johnson and one nephew Steve Pendley.
Dwight Pendley is survived by his wife of 60 years Carlon Peay Pendley of Morgantown, KY; two sons Matt Pendley (Shelley) of Independence, KY and Jeff Pendley (Melanie) of Morgantown, KY; four grandchildren Noah and Elijah Pendley of Independence, KY, Monique Pendley of Louisville, KY and Lindsey Flikkie of Sellersburg, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00am with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Monticello Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm and Monday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
