Dwight E. Pope, 82, of Greenville, SC, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. Born in Burlington, NC, he was a son of the late Rainey and Eleanor Sykes Pope.
Dwight was a 1964 graduate of North Carolina State University with a Civil Engineering degree. He spent 38 years of his career working in Greenville. He was an excellent golfer and had a love for baseball, books, and beach music. His greatest joy, however, was the relationship he had with his three grandchildren.
