Randy and Christy built a marriage on faith and love that spanned 46 devoted years. Randy cherished his family. He adored his daughter, Cynthia, and his grandchildren, Valarie, Gracie, and Samantha, held an even more special place in his heart. He loved to joke and laugh with them, eagerly learning about their newest adventures. Randy also enjoyed the phone calls he would receive asking for help or advice on the newest build or repair that Cynthia and Chris were pursuing.

He held various board positions over the years and was a Paul Harris Fellow recipient. His love of history was evident through his membership in the Richmond County Historical Society and his appointment to the city of Rockingham Historical Preservation Board. Randy volunteered at the Arts Council and supported culture enrichment in Richmond County.
His faith was a cornerstone of his life. Randy was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Rockingham, where he taught Sunday School for over 30 years, served as a Deacon, and sang in the choir. Randy enjoyed sharing his skills through mission trips and NC Baptist Men.
Randy had a deep passion for racing. For over 20 years, he raced with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). He loved open-wheel racing, a hobby that became a significant part of his life. His parents and his family were his biggest supporters. His love of racing lead to lifetime friendships beyond the track.
