Dwight Andrew Sabee, age 56 of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was born on February 11, 1967 to John Michael and Marian Edith (Wildhagen) Sabee in Appleton. Dwight graduated from Neenah High School, class of 1985. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1988 from Marquette University. Dwight later obtained his MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in 1997.
Dwight was the Engineering Manager for Marine Products at Twin Disc before returning to Appleton to work at JMS Converters. Most recently Dwight was the Test and Warranty manager for Regal Rexnord where he was responsible for all warranty returns and claims as well as the Engineering Law lab where he conducted and coordinated new product development testing, customer testing and production testing. Dwight was very proud of his professional accomplishments and truly loved his job. He will be greatly missed for his knowledge and expertise, but most of all for the person he was.
On August 22, 2005 he married Kristine Noelle Heintz. Dwight was the life of the party; he enjoyed skiing, hiking, swimming and reading, he was an avid Packers fan and loved music (especially heavy metal); he played many instruments, including the piano and bass guitar, but the drums were his true love. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Kristine, stepson Matthew (Samantha) Berrens, grandson Joseph Berrens, favorite sister Pamela McAvoy and parents Michael and Marian Sabee. Dwight is further survived by his brother-in-law Travis (Julie) Heintz, mother and father-in-law Robert and Karen Heintz, nieces and nephews; Adam and Sarah McAvoy and Andrew McAvoy Sabee; and Andrew and Adam Heintz; aunts Pamela Sabee and Sherry (Dennis) Ahlman, as well as other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his sister, Penelope Sabee, grandparents, Reinhardt and Lois Sabee and uncle Craig Sabee.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service to be held at the funeral home at noon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Butte des Morts Country Club, immediately following the service until 3:00 p.m.

Our deepest condolences to the Sabee family. Duane and I have so many awesome memories of Dwight. It's hard to pick which one to write about. Packer games, concerts, skiing, Kraut Fest, singing along with Kiss,or just hanging out, he made us laugh. Although it's been some time since we saw Dwight, he was a pretty big part of our history, so we'll always remember him and the fun times we had. He was the life of the party and will be missed.

Sleep Peacefully, Dwight.
Love, Jenny and Duane Doucette
