Dwight Thomas Swanwick

Dwight Thomas Swanwick, 91, of Arvada, CO, passed away on March 29, 2025. Dwight was born on September 20,1933, in Michigan to John and Leena Swanwick. He was a loving father to 3 children, Reena Rauch, DeAnna McFann and John Swanwick. Survived by DeAnna, John, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his youngest sister Sally, many nieces and nephews and preceded in death by his sister Sherry.
Dwight had a passion for roller skating, music and fast cars! He could be often seen at Wash Park or Crown Hill with a boom-box in hand, skating with his friends, half his age. His love for all Colorado sports kept him busy, taking pictures of final scores to share with everyone. He completed his "drive" with his dream car of a 2018 Mustang, all black, of course.
He loved his time with his children, and many commented they were the light of his life. He enjoyed taking his children on road trips across the country to visit with family, making sure their summers were full of adventure. With an appreciation of different cuisines, he enjoyed family gatherings and was a delight to have as a guest.
There will be a private celebration of life.
