Dylan Thomas Allen passed away on December 8, 2025. Dylan was born in Roanoke, VA in 1996, the son of Robert (Bob) and Christine (Chris) Allen. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn/Kate (Carrara) Allen of Winter Park, FL, his brother Walker of Fishersville, VA his sister Casey Mae of Forest, VA and was also cherished by the Carrara family, Kate’s parents and five siblings.
Dylan was a graduate of Altavista High School; Central Virginia Community College and the United States Military Academy – Class of 2018 “With Strength We Lead”. He served his country as a 1st Lieutenant in the 101st Airborne of the U.S. Army and was employed with NUCOR Steel.
Dylan humbly served the Lord by serving his country with honor and family & friends with love.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 12/20/25 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Lynchburg, VA. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Roundelay Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
