Services for DYLAN ALEXANDER DOBBS, 34, will be held and announced at a later date. Dylan passed away October 22, 2025, in Lingle, Wyoming and cremation has taken place. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com Dylan was born September 4, 1991, in Springfield, Missouri to Allen Leroy "Lee" Dobbs Jr. and Michelle (Papen) Dobbs. He was raised in Missouri near Lake of the Ozarks surrounded by his close-knit family
who showered him with love and attention. While his parents taught school, he enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, especially his Grandma Betty with whom he shared many milestones and memories. He was adored by all of his cousins who admired him greatly then and throughout his life. They always reveled in his kindness and vast knowledge and often looked to him as a big brother. He moved to Hot Springs, South Dakota in 2004 where he attended Hot Springs Schools graduating in 2010. He then attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota before relocating to Lingle, Wyoming. His mother Michelle was his everything and he was hers. He loved cooking and making fresh lemonade for her weekly. They fostered each other's love for music and learning. A self-proclaimed homebody, Dylan enjoyed spending
time with his online community of friends and his trips to Missouri to spend time with his father and extended family. His usually quiet demeanor was set aside only to participate in good spirited, hilarious debates sprinkled with sarcasm and random facts that left many asking, "How do you know these things?" He had a way of making you feel better at the end of the exchange even when he proved you wrong. For him, it was less about being right and more about sharing accurate information. His intelligence and his quick wit were overshadowed only by the respect and kindness he showed to everyone. Dylan was a gift to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but always treasured. Those here to share his stories and honor his memory are his mother Michelle (Papen) Dobbs-Lingle, WY, father Allen Leroy Dobbs, Jr.-Macks Creek, MO, grandparents Kenyon and Betty Papen-Weaubleau, MO, Grandparent, Glenda Bettis -Georgia, Uncle David (Paula) Papen-Neosho, Mo. His Uncle, Rod Dobbs-Santa Fe, NM, and Aunt Steffani Bowman-Alabama, as well as many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
