Dylan Ray Johnson, 24, of Connersville unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was born in Connersville to Ray Johnson and Sheryl Stanton.

He was a 2019 graduate of Castle High School in Newburgh, Indiana.

On August 27, 2024, he married Mariah Messer in Connersville. Together they were blessed with a son, Keon Mykal Johnson.

Dylan had worked at the age of 16 doing concrete work until he was 21. He recently had been working at Dale Cemetery doing seasonal work.

He was a man full of life; known for his charismatic personality and the way he could light up any room with his smile and joking personality. He was a devoted husband and a proud father. His love for his family was unwaving and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was a dreamer with many goals and ambitions, always striving to build a better future for those he loved. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found walking along the creek.

Dylan's faith in God was an important part of his life, guiding him and giving him the strength. He also had a passion for working with cars, specially building Ford Mustangs. Dylan also enjoyed riding his Honda VPR motorcycle.

The impact Dylan made on his family and friends will last a lifetime. He will be remembered for his laughter, drive, his love and the way he made others feel.
