Anthony “Tony” Blaine Lee, 71, of New Castle passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 at IU Health Methodist Hospital. He was born March 6, 1955 to Dennis H. and Donna June (York) Lee and raised by Dennis and Nancy Dale (Black) Lee.
Tony was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He worked for Schwan’s Ice Cream as a Sales Manager for over 20 years. More recently, Tony drove a truck for MLS. Tony was an avid golfer and also enjoyed playing the guitar. He loved all kinds of sports, but especially loved cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys. Tony loved the Lord and worshiped at The Church in Connersville. Tony’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grand kids.
Those left to honor Tony’s memory are his wife of 20 years, Annette (Ryckman) Lee; children, Melissa (Andrew) Platts, Scott Lee, Johnathon (Tonya) Richardson, Cody (Pamela) Richardson, Maria (Matthew) Lynch, Karina Lee and Robert Lee; grandchildren, Waylon, Harper, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Joshua, Elijah, Adelynn and Jameson; siblings, Bret Lee, Jeff Lee, Craig Lee, Lisa (Tim) Williams and James Ward and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, John Wesley Row; a grandmother, Lillian Hope Guffey.
Services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Ministers Gary Richardson and Sam Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at South Mound Cemetery.
