Dylan Schwerdtfeger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Williamson - White Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Amery on May 7, 2025.
Dylan Thomas Schwerdtfeger, born on March 9, 2002 to Daniel and Karen Schwerdtfeger, passed away May 5, 2025 at the age of 23. A 2020 graduate of the Clear Lake School District, Dylan showed early promise as a leader, taking on a leadership role in the Naval Sea Cadet program in Osceola during his high school years.
Dylan lived a vibrant and adventurous life, always surrounded by family and friends he loved so deeply. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hiking, camping, and kayaking. His greatest passions were riding his motorcycle in the warmer months and snowboarding during the winter. Confident in his skills, Dylan was known for his daring tricks on the slopes and his smooth command of the road.
One of Dylan's most remarkable qualities was his ability to bring people together from all walks of life. He had a way of making friendships out of thin air with anyone he met-his warmth, authenticity, and easygoing nature drew people in and made them feel instantly at home. His genuine personality created bonds between people who might never have met otherwise, and his presence left an unmistakable mark wherever he went.
Professionally, Dylan was a dedicated and hardworking 3rd Shift Production Lead at Cardinal, a local glass manufacturing facility. His reliability, work ethic, and leadership earned him the respect of both peers and management. He often worked overtime to ensure production stayed on schedule and took the initiative to cross-train in other areas, becoming a vital asset to the organization. Dylan was among the first to volunteer to be a member of the Safety Committee and serve as a First Responder, demonstrating his commitment to the well-being of his fellow team members. His efforts did not go unnoticed-his management saw leadership potential in him and invited him to attend a development conference with hopes of a future leadership role.
Dylan was known for his selflessness and his willingness to help others, often putting others' needs before his own. His generosity, dedication, and passion for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey.
He is survived by his loving parents, Daniel and Karen Schwerdtfeger of Clear Lake; his brothers, Cameron (Kayla) Crawford and Brandon Schwerdtfeger; his sister, Lynsie (Caden) Schwerdtfeger; and his two nieces, Olivia and Amelia. He is also survived by his best friend, Emilie Bremness, along with many extended family members and numerous close friends who loved him dearly.
A visitation will be held at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI on Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
