Mr. Freddy Wayne Schwerdtfeger, age 73
Of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home. He was born July 15, 1951, in Waverly, TN to Bob and Margie Schwerdtfeger.
Freddy dedicated his life to the land and the agricultural community, exemplifying an unwavering commitment to farming that spanned decades. He had a zest for life that transcended his work on the farm. Freddy found joy in the great outdoors, with camping being one of his cherished pastimes. The beauty of nature inspired him, and he often took time away from his farming duties to explore the wilderness. Additionally, Freddy was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, particularly enjoying rides on his Harley. The thrill of the open road brought him a profound sense of freedom and joy, allowing him to experience life from a thrilling new perspective.
Freddy will be remembered not only for his contributions as a farmer but also for his zest for life and the joys he found in both work and leisure. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Monday, March 24th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Schwerdtfeger will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, March 24, 2025, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Bakerville Cemetery.
