HUDSON FALLS – Dylan Scott Steenken, 23, of Hudson Falls, passed away early Sunday morning, April 14, 2024 while working in Florida.
Born on June 20, 2000, he was the son of Scott Steenken and Mary Steenken. Dylan was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School, where he wrestled and played football during his tenure there. He went on to Buffalo State College and earned his Engineering degree.
Dylan worked as a Civil Engineer for ENTACT. He liked playing video games on his XBox as well as playing pool with his friends. Dylan loved to eat different kinds of food and was known to try anything at least once. He was a supportive and intelligent person who was kind to everyone and loved by all that knew him. Dylan's father was his best friend.
Dylan is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Audrey Steenken; and his uncle, Richard Wendell, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Steenken of South Glens Falls; his father and step mother, Scott and Linda Steenken of FL; his maternal grandparents, June and Dave Benway of Glens Falls; siblings: Alexis Evans and her husband, Duane of KY, twin sister, Marissa Steenken of Hudson Falls, Brandan Creeden and his wife, Jennifer of IN, Shealynn Harold and her husband, Robert, and Charlie Gould; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, NY 12804.
