Dyllis DeVaney Obituary

Dyllis DeVaney

Born: May 28, 1958 | Died: February 15, 2026

Dyllis DeVaney, age 67, of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away on February 15, 2026, at Erlanger Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1958, in Kingston, Tennessee, to Marvin and Mary DeVaney.

Dyllis was of the Baptist faith and was a wonderful person to be around. He was a loving, big-hearted man who took great pride in his profession and in mentoring younger men in concrete construction. To Dyllis, friendship meant family - and if you were his friend, you were his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Angela DeVaney; and his brother, Richard DeVaney.

He is survived by his wife, Deara Ritter DeVaney; his children, Angela (Jacob) Burge, Dyllis "Bud" DeVaney, and Danny (Amanda) DeVaney; his sisters, Marlene Welchel and Kathy Melton; and his brothers, Marvin (Denise) DeVaney and Thomas DeVaney. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
