Eaph "Bud" Brown passed away on October 8th, 2025, at the age of 67 in St. Louis, Missouri. Born on March 31st, 1958, Bud lived a life marked by love and family. His dry sense of humor and quick wit, which endeared him to many people throughout his life, could light up any room, leaving an enduring mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A devoted companion to his faithful and beloved dog, Baxter, Bud found joy in fishing on the cool days, embracing the peace and solitude nature offered.
Bud is survived by his wife, Deb Brown (née Lane); his daughter, April Brown and grandson Logan Spieker; his brothers Daniel (Laverne) and Christopher (Nancy); his nieces Sheila (Dean) Humphrey, Angie Bryan, Sarah Brown, Jennifer Brown, and Carly (Joey) Brown; his nephews Christopher (Michelle) Brown, Stanley Baras, Michael Brown, and Daniel (Kim) Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eaph and Pauline (née Nicewaner) Brown, his brother James Brown, and his nephew Steven Brown.
Bud's life was a testament to humor, love, and the joy he found in simple pleasures and small moments shared with family and friends. He will be remembered, always, as a loving father, devoted papa, brother, uncle bunny, and a treasured friend to all who knew him. His presence will be greatly missed by his little fishing buddy and great nephew, Daniel (Goose) Brown III, and by all of us who were blessed to share parts of our lives with his.
