Earl D. Bormuth

Earl Duane Bormuth, age 93, of Kent, OH, died on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at UH Portage Medical Center.
Earl was born May 19, 1929 in Ravenna, OH to Vernon and Eva (Barkes) Bormuth.
He as a teenager worked with his dad in the plumbing business.
He retired from The Record-Courier after 41 years. He had been with The Record-Courier since he was a paper boy working his way into the circulation department, and becoming Circulation Manager, later with the maintenance department after retirement.
His hobbies; he loved tinkering, fixing things, making things. An all-around handy man. He was a Model A Ford Club for years.
Father of Karen McGhee, Cheryl Benson (Don Benson), Connie Whitted. Grandfather of Rusty Vaughn, Jim Vaughn, Beth Cutright, Scott Benson and Cody Whitted. Total of great grandchildren 12. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; brother Elmer, and sister Erna Lower.
He will be greatly missed from everybody who knew him.
Private Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
