Rhonda Lynn Bormuth, 62

Rhonda Lynn Bormuth passed away on January 26, 2026. She was born September 15,1963 to David Certain and Carolyn Carden in Broward County. She met the love of her life and true soul mate, Charles 'Chuck' Bormuth. They were married for over 35 wonderful years. She began working for Publix and left to pursue a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She later returned back to Publix giving over 20 years of loyal service. Rhonda was a member of North Side Baptist Church. She was a lifetime resident of Okeechobee. She found great joy going on cruises with her two best friends, Penny Krammerer of Bellview, Florida and Bonita Hazellieff of Okeechobee, Florida. She also enjoyed going to concerts, visiting the casino, and spending precious time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anthony Bormuth III; daughter, Cirinna Bormuth; mother, Carolyn Carden; sister, Robin Miller; mother-in-law, Jane Bormuth; and grandmother, Edith Westberry.

She is survived by her son, Anthony David Bormuth of Okeechobee, Florida; parents, David (Kathy) Certain of Lavonia, Georgia; sister, Melissa Crews of Okeechobee, Florida; brothers, Chad (Dina) Carden and Rodney (Jennifer) Carden both of Okeechobee, Florida; father-in-law, Charles A. Bormuth of Palm Beach, Florida; brother-in-law, Craig (Wilma) Bormuth of West Palm Beach, Florida, Greg Miller of Lake City, Florida, and Jamie Crews of Ocala, Florida; sister-in-law, Jody Jacobs of Palm Beach, Florida; nieces, Cheyenne (James) Stafford of Okeechobee, Florida, Jennifer Bormuth of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Erica (Andrew) DeCarlo of Denver, Colorado; nephews, J.T. Crews of Okeechobee, Florida and Clay (Maxey) Bormuth of West Palm Beach, Florida; grandchildren, David Lee Bormuth of Okeechobee, Florida, Brandy Larie Salas of Okeechobee, Florida, and Rylie Bormuth of Okeechobee, Florida; along with a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, her Publix family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
