Mitchell Scott Alan Waller, 62, of Kent, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. He was born in Akron and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mitchell was employed as a licensed commercial pilot and flying was his life. He was always willing to share a story about his experiences flying around the world to anyone who asked. He lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Waller and Helen (Markam) DeGregio; and his sister Rayne.
Mitchell leaves his long-time partner in life Christy Collins; step-daughter Chantel Lovelady; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In honoring his wishes, Mitchell will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
