Earl F. Hayward III

Earl F. "Wiggy" Hayward III, a lifelong resident of Acton, passed away peacefully Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Life Care Center of Acton. He was 82 Years old.
Earl was born in Marlborough, son of the late Earl F. Jr. and Ernestine (Steinmann) Hayward. He was raised in Acton and was a graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School. He served a short time in the United States Army and spent time working along side his father at his family's sign company which was located in the Exchange Hall in Acton. Earl was a fan of all Boston sports, especially the Bruins and the Red Sox. In his younger years, he enjoyed weight lifting and body building. Always one with a quick fact, Earl especially liked reading the World Almanac.
Earl is lovingly survived by his brother Russell Hayward of Marlborough along with his three nieces, Brenda Bourgeois and her husband Richard of Marlborough, Laurie Beane and her husband John of Bellingham and Elaine Vianey and her husband Fred of Carlisle, PA and their families.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11th at 11:00AM in Mount Hope Cemetery, Central Street, Acton. Those who wish may make contributions in Earl's memory to a charity of their choice.
